on August 5, 2013 - 2:42am

Come one, come all to the Roundhouse Museum August 10! It's the big, annual Blueberry Festival at Alyeska, August 10 & 11! There are many artisan booths and original art to see. I will be there, decked out as a berry fairy, and the staff will be too.

My friend George, modeling!

on August 3, 2013 - 11:19pm

My friend, George Clark, kindly agreed to model the barbecue apron my sister made for me. He is a large man, and see how well the apron adjusts to fit him - and it also fit my petite sister!

Sister Roz has another creation!

on July 15, 2013 - 5:18pm

My sister made this snazzy barbecue apron, featuring the Running Moose motif from the Creatures of the Wild fabric. For men & women! I would also love to see potholders as part of the set!

Betty, Owner of the Silver Thimble, hosted me and an enthusiastic group of Ketchikan quilters who were very welcoming!

Home again!

on June 23, 2013 - 4:08pm

My sister Rosalind and I are home after a spectacular cruise on Alaska's Inside Passage! We left from Seward & returned there, so no flying this time. Along the way, we visited quilt shops and met some fabulous quilters and shop owners - Southeast Alaska has a very strong quilting world.

Surreal Squirrels

on May 30, 2013 - 3:03pm

Just finished my squirrel art, which I'm calling Surreal Squirrels. We have wild ones around our house and I lure them in with unsalted peanuts so that I can get pictures.
