My friend Chris of Chris Hearts Collectibles has finished more of the luxurious throw pillows she's making for me from the original sample fabric I received for approval from Kaufman. Imagine how thrilled I am to see the Creatures of the WIld fabric actually made into functional objects of beauty!
Here is my sister, Roz, hard at work on the Creatures tote bags available later this summer in my Shop Fairies shop. She has designed them to highlight the animal squares into handy pockets (your Ipad will fit here!). On the reverse side is the running moose banner, made into two smaller pockets
Going to see my sister this morning to consult on Creatures of the Wild tote bags that she is making from my fabric. Here we are about 60 years ago in Sunflower Village (used to be on Ft.. Richardson...when it was Ft. Richardson, before JBER!
At the Alaska Zoo yesterday to take pictures for new Creatures of the Wild art - stopped in the gift shop and saw these fabulous displays of my art on McGowan Tempered Glass kitchen products. A big thank you to Terri Storter for making this contact!
My sister, Rosalind, made me this nifty tote bag out of my Creatures of the Wild fabric! She's making me 5 more, one for each of the animal squares on the panel: otter, polar bear, moose, & puffin. We will each carry one on the upcoming Inside Passage cruise!
